Does my cat need to be vaccinated? Does my cat need to be flee and worm treated?
Yes your cat will need to be up to date with its F3 vaccination within the last 12 months. This vaccination will need to have been completed at least 2 weeks prior to check in. You will need to bring the certificate from your Vet before we can allow your cat to stay. Your cat will also need to be flee and worm treated. This will ensure that all cats are safe while in our care.
What if my cat is on medication?
All staff are qualified or completing qualifications at 4Paws Cattery and can administer medication to your pet. We also have 2 vets on call if your cat requires any further medical attention. We also happy to speak directly with your preferred Vet in the case of an emergency.
Can I bring my own food?
Of course you can. We stock a variety of wet and dry food for your cat. Upon arrival or during the booking process, please notify us that you would like to provide specific us with specific food and instructions for the duration of your cats stay.
Can I see the Cattery?
Absolutely, we encourage you to visit us first. All you need to do is give us a call to make an appointment and one of our friendly staff members can show you around.
How do I make a booking?
Booking at 4 Paws Cattery is easy. All you need to do is give us a call or book online. If you would like to speed up the process, make a booking at the top of the booking page. Our online booking system will request some details about you and your cat. By following this process, we can generally check in your cat in under 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, send us and email to briony@4pawscattery.com.au.
Do I have to pay when i book?
No you do not need to pay when you receive confirmation we have received and accepted your booking. You only need to pay on or before the day you drop off your cat . We do encourage payment after your booking confirmation to speed up the check in process.
What do I need to bring?
We suggest the you bring your cats bedding or a blanket that they sleep on as this can make their stay more comfortable. Also you need to make sure that you bring your cats F3 certificate as confirmation that they have been vaccinated.
How much will it cost?
The prices start at $24.00 per day for the small suites, $27.00 per day for medium suites, $30.00 per day for large suites and an additional $16.00 per day for each additional cat. Check out our pricing page for the other to cages that we have on offer that may suit your cat's needs.
Do you have heating and cooling?
Yes we do! Our cattery has heating and cooling so your cats are comfortable all year round throughout the whole day. We will also provide heat packs to our senior cats or on request.
Are there any special conditions for Christmas, school holidays and busy periods?
There are no surcharges for Christmas or any other special periods. We do however have a minimum 1 week booking for December and January
Pick up and drop off times
Our pick up and drop off times can are in the morning and afternoon during the week. On the weekends pick up and drop offs are during the morning. We do not allow pick ups, drop offs or visits on public holidays that we are closed. Rest assured our staff will still be attending these days for cleaning and feeding but will have limited hours on those days.
